I’ve enjoyed creating with my hands for as long as I can remember. Watching something come to life. Meek Oak is my wholehearted attempt to live a creative life and to inspire others to do the same. Meek Oak will grow to have a collection of arts that I feel passionate about making. Being creative has helped me grow in faith and feel more connected with our Creator.

“The meek will He guide in judgment: and the meek will He teach his way.” Psalm 25:9

Meekness is a gentleness that comes from humility. Oak signifies strength, protection, and stability.

Meek + Oak = Gentle Strength.

Meekness in Christ is not just “sheathing our swords,” but instead, forging them into something new and beautiful. Into tools that provide, mend, create, and unite instead of destroy or tear down. I’ve forged my sword into a needle and seek to create things that spread joy and inspire others to tap into their creative roots.

We can glorify God, our Creator, by using our innate creativity to sustain ourselves. We are meant to be creative. That impulse is natural.
